Sunday Update #1

Benefit Peek a Bright Eyes kit, Topshop dress, Shorthand work, Paul & Joe skincare

Yesterday I was booked in a for make up lesson at Benefit so went along with some friends. Going there is always a bad decision as I'm so tempted to buy everything but the woman did our make up nicely as we were off to a party in the evening - I will get my make up done more often when I'm going out! I never really use eye make up - just some mascara and liquid liner on the top lashes - so I love getting my eyes done and trying new things out.

She used RSVP, a pinky shade, as a base coat then Skinny Jeans, a grey colour, in the corners to create a smokey effect. I'll definitely be purchasing some more eye shadows soon so I can try out smokey eyes for myself! I bought the Peek a Bright Eyes kit which is great for Illuminating the eye area.
It contains Eye Bright, a base, contouring, and highlighting shadow, concealer brush, and a contour and liner brush.

We looked very dolled up as we wandered through town after, it felt weird having that much make up on! After our trip to Benefit we headed off to a house party for a friend's 21st. I borrowed this Topshop bodycon floral dress off a friend and I'm now in love with it and trying to hunt it down! Ebay didn't prove successful so I'll have to keep searching.

Back to work today! I interviewed a girl for my feature due this Friday and spent the rest of the afternoon trying to decode my shorthand from the interview. The wintery weather and lack of sleep has played havoc with my skin so I'll be using my new Paul&Joe skincare tonight.
