Generally when I’m doing my makeup in the mornings for
work I’m dashing around in a hurry having had barely enough sleep. My eyes
aren’t fully open and are still adjusting to the light having opened my
curtains in a rush.
My skin isn’t overly sensitive but my eyes are always the
ones to suffer from long days, staring at my computer all day and being exposed
to the elements. La Roche Posay have got skincare concerns down to a tee,
Effaclar Duo+ has become an iconic classic for acne prone skin, and I’m a huge
fan of their hydrating mask, so if you also suffer from sensitive eyes you’ll
want to give their latest products a try.
The Respectissime Eye Makeup Remover effectively removes eye makeup without having
to rub the delicate skin around the eyes. It is fragrance and paraben free so
doesn’t cause any irritation. I’m guilty of not using an eye makeup remover and
just relying on my face cleanser to do the job, although I’m often left with
panda eyes after washing my face, so having a dedicated product for mascara and
eyeliner is highly effective.
I was also excited to see that La Roche Posay have
launched three new different mascaras; Respectissime
Volume, Respectissime Multi-Dimensions and Respectissime Waterproof. I’ve
been using Respectissime Volume Mascara and think it is a great everyday
mascara. It adds a good amount of length without being clumpy and, being
fragrance free, it doesn’t irritate my eyes at all. I’d say this gives more of
a natural look so for evening wear I still rely on other mascaras to give a
dramatic and volumised look.
