I am a huge fan of Korres; their body ranges are to die for and I am always stocked up on delicious-smelling shower gels and body lotions. I’ve recently started branching into their skincare ranges after being so impressed with the Greek brand and one of their latest launches, the Castanea Arcadia range, certainly doesn’t disappoint.

This anti-wrinkle and firming range is designed for more mature skin, using the power of the Castanea (Chestnut) tree extract. It is a global first as it contains a powerful ingredient called Lupeol, which is an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory, that has never been used as an active ingredient in cosmetics before.

Korres has combined Lupeol with hyaluronic acid to enhance skin’s elasticity, resilience and youthfulness.

All science aside, I’ve been testing out this range for a while as, despite being in my early (mid!) 20’s, I’m starting to notice the first signs of ageing – crows feet, eye lines and forehead lines, and am trying to combat it as early as possible.

First up is the Anti-wrinkle, Firming & Brightening Serum. This feels very light on my skin but does make my face feel a lot firmer and tighter. The day cream is ideal for oilier skin tones because it is also very light and doesn’t feel greasy at all. Finally I’ve also been using the Velvet Eye Cream. This feels very cooling and soothing around my eye area to keep it moisturised, and I’ve found that makeup doesn’t sit in the lines around my eyes like it often does.

Price range from £36-£39. You can check out the range here.

  1. I've been wanting to try some bits from Korres for the longest time now. This range sounds lovely! The serum sounds like something I'd like :)
